Download the Apple Music app for your Android device. Apple developed the Android version of its famous music app on iOS. With Apple Music, you can stream over 50 million songs. Use Live internet radio for free on the latest version of the app. Upload your own music directly to the Apple servers and listen to it later. With its discovery feature, explore new music from artists worldwide.

The app is only available for devices running Android 4.3 and up. You’ll need to create an Apple ID to use Apple Music. When you sign up, Apple asks what genres and artists you’re into so it can suggest music for you. Once subscribed you will be able to take unlimited music with you everywhere. You can save cellular data, just download your favorite songs to your smartphone. Users can also create a profile and follow friends to see the music they’re listening to and the playlists they’ve shared.

Apple Music library consists of all of your music, whether that’s your own personal library or songs that you searched for in the app and saved. You can save a new song or album that you like by hitting the “+Add” button to save it to your library. The recently added section appears on the main screen for easy access to the recently added songs. The app has a left slide-out menu. In the menu, you’ll find the For You, New, Radio, Connect, Playlists, and My Music tabs. You can create your own playlists and access music you’ve purchased through iTunes on the My Music page. Download songs, playlists, and full albums for offline listening when you don’t have an internet connection. You can also try YouTube Music having the same features.

Discovering New Music on Apple Music

The “For You” section enables you to discover new music and artists. The app will automatically send you music suggestions depending on your listening history. It does this by using algorithms Apple Music recommends similar artists, songs, or curated playlists based on a mix of your past listening habits.

Instead of music and playlists made for you, this is where you’ll find everything that’s new. Instead of a playlist of songs that are similar to your past listening habits, you’ll find a daily Top 100 playlist here separated by country. This helps you to explore charts across the globe, you’ll have selections ranging from English charts to Brazilian hip-hop.
